Decade old abandoned public toilet receives facelift by philanthropist at Gagbuni
A philanthropist, Prince Yakubu Mohammed (Zanjina Mankaana) has given back life to residents of Gagbuni; after he rehabilitated a decade old abandoned toilet, the only public toilet in the community.
The newly rehabilitated facility which is estimated at a cost of GH¢25,000 will replace the abandoned one which has been describe by residents as a death trap.
Interacting with Sagani TV, Prince Zanjina, revealed that even though his family do not patronise public toilets; he saw the need to come to the aid of his neighborhood due to danger women go through to attend nature's call.
He therefore took it upon himself to rehabilitate the only public toilet facility which had been dilapidated and abandoned for over a decade.
Responding to public comments that his gesture might have been influenced by a future political interest. He denied having any political ambitions and stress that he did it for God.
He also called on the public especially those who are well to do not to always wait on government to bring development in their various areas.
The assembly member and the people of the area could not hide their excitements for his actions and prayed for him for long life and more blessings.
