Association of Principals of Technical Institutions holds 36th national annual conference in Tamale
The 36th national annual conference of Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI) was held in Tamale on Tuesday 29/09/2020 to dialogue on ways to improve the direction and growth of Technical Education in the Ghana.
The theme for the discussion was dubbed ‘’Making Ghana’s TVET system responsive and relevant to the nation’s development needs” the role of stakeholders”.
The event was held at Dabokpa Technical institute in Tamale. It brought together the Northern Regional Minister Hon. Salifu Sa-eed, Principals of Public Technical Institutions in Ghana, representatatives of all Teacher unions and Traditional rulers within the northern zone were all in attendance.
In an interview with Sagani Tv, the Principal of Dabokpa Technical Institute madam Mahama Mariam explaining the purpose for the conference made a passionate appeal to Government to establish more Technical Institution in the Northern region to boost Technical Education.
On his part, the Northern Regional Minister addressing the gathering thanked organizers of the event for choosing Tamale as the venue for this year’s Conference.
