Nabco boss launches TPS Fund in Tamale

'Repairer Foundation', a poverty alleviation foundation founded by the Npp Palimentary candidate for the Tamale Central constituency Dr. Ibrahim Barihama Anyars who doubles as CEO for Nation Builder Corp (NABCO) has launched a fund dubbed 'Tamale Prenuership' Fund aimed at supporting start-up businesses to boost local economy in Tamale.

The launch came off on Saturday 3rd October 2020, in Tamale at the Modern city hotel.

The fund will also be tailored towards investing in lives of people living  in Tamale to be able attain good standard of living with accessibility to the fund.

A total of 200,000 Ghana Cedis has been invested as seed capital into the fund by the founder of the 'Repair Foundation', Dr. Ibrahim Anyars to start its operations.

Addressing the gathering at the launch,  the Tamale Central Parliamentary candidate indicated that the initiative is targeted at eradicating poverty in Northern region as well as empowering the youth and women for sound economic standing in society.

He stressed tha, strenghtening small and medium scale businesses are the reasons for establishing the fund.Therefore urged the people to take advatage of the situation  by applying for funds from the Tamale Prenuership fund

Dr.Suleman Anamzooya, CEO of Northern Development Authority (NDA) who was present at the launch congratulated the Nabco boss for the initiative. He desclosed that the fund is intended to nip poverty in the bud and also vowed to commit resouces and ideas to ensure that the fund stand the test of time to benefit businesses in Northern region.

The Northern regional minister  Salifu Sa-eed who also graced the ocassion donated 50,000 Ghana cedis as his contribution to the fund.

The fund will lend money to businesses as a seed or supporting capital without interest payment.
