N/R: House of a 60 Year Old Woman Burnt for Alleged Witchcraft in Nakpali
A house belonging to a woman believed to be in her 60s has been completely burnt to ashes at Nakpali, a farming community in the Zabzugu District of the northern region for an alleged witchcraft.
Narrating the incidence to Sagani TV, an eye witness Musah Shani said a branch of a baobab three fell on a young man called Sulemana Issah about three days ago which led to his death.
This resulted to accusations of Issah's family on a woman whose name was given as Amina Mahama as being the one behind the death of Issah.
The family and friends subsequently mounted attacks on Amina Mahama at her residence at Nakpali and burnt down the house to ashes.
It took a report of a family member to the CHRAJ director at Yendi who called for police to rescue the woman.
Family of Amina Mahama is however planning retaliation if justice is not served.
