NRFA Chairman Commends TMFA for Well Branded Inaugural Ceremony
Chairman of Northern regional football association lavished praises on Tamale metro football association for organizing a well branded and colorful inauguration ceremony to swear into office members of its executive council.
'I must say that in terms of branding you have done well, you have done 'yeo' man's job. Is a well thought through inauguration you have put up and you deserve to be commended in that regard'. Says the NRFA chairman.
The ceremony held at the 'East stand' of the Aliu Mahama stadium on Saturday 21/112020 saw executive council members, media committee, representatives of clubs, veterans in the game, ushers among others, dressed in a well branded color T-shirts for easy identification.
As a result, it attracted the attention of northern regional football association chairman, who complimented the efforts of the association for such laudable exhibition of dress code and professionalism.
According to the chairman, he has inaugurated so many district and municipal football associations, since he took the helm of affairs of football in northern region, but Tamale Metro football association's inauguration ceremony is unprecedented. And therefore charged the other district football associations to emulate the example of TMFA
The northern regional football association leader also urged district football associations to submit monthly reports of their respective activities to the NRFA, since standard template will soon be rolled out.
He also urged the various working committees under the district football body to always work together as a team to achieve common goals devoid of disregard to the chain of command.
Chairman Rhyzo, made these statements when he was addressing the gathering at the inauguration ceremony by Tamale Metro football association.
In all, 11 executive council members were sworn into office to man the affairs of the association for the next 4 years.
Dignitaries from RFA, chairman for TMFA, chairmen for other district football associations, SWAG northern regional branch, and veteran journalists among others from the football fraternity were all in attendace.
Meanwhile several individuals including the Minority Leader- Haruna Iddrisu donated 1000 Ghana Cedis, Former TMFA boss Umar Karim Farouq- 1000, Ibrahim Gagbuni 500. Others such as NRFA led Chairman Abu Hassan Rhyzos and Alhaj Yeboah also donated 400 Ghana cedis each to TMFA.
Both Tamale Metro and Sagnarigu National Service secretariat also supported the inauguration with some amount of cash.
Clubs within the Metropolis also made contributions towards the successful organization of the inauguration.
