The leadership of the Pentecostal church in Tamale, launch the 'agent of peace' campaign ahead of December 2020 elections.
The campaign forms part of the church's effort at ensuring the observance of peace before, during and after the elections.
Representatives from customs division, Police, and fire service as well as military,were all in attendance.
Various speakers who mounted the podium, emphasize that there is only one Ghana, and that Ghanaians must stage a strong resistance against individuals or group of people whose actions and inactions have the tendency of jeorpadizing Ghana's peace and Democratic gains since 1992.
The event took place inside the church of Pentecost at Tishigu in Tamale. The colourful event was grace by prominent persons including chiefs, opinion leaders as well as people from all walks of life.
The 2020 elections will be keenly contested,as it is the first time in Ghana's political history that a former president will be going face to face against an incumbent.
The head pastor of all church's in N/R belonging to the Pentecost, told Sagani news that, members of the church will embark on a series of activities to intensify the message of peace across the length and breadth of northern Ghana.
