Tamale: Philanthropist donates ¢5,200 for 18 year old girl to undergo surgery
18 year old Sualisu Khadija has been diagnosed of a critical condition by the Tamale Teaching hospital (TTH), making movement really difficult for the teenager.
An amount of ¢5,200 was therefore needed to conduct urgent surgery on the 18 year old to improve the condition.
After an appeal was made to the general public for money to conduct the surgery, a philanthropic effort of some individuals, a Ghanaian philanthropist based in USA and friends came to her aid.
On Friday 25th September 2020 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), an amount of ¢5,200 Ghana cedis was presented to the Family of Sualisu Kadija to carry out the surgery.
An amount of ¢500 Ghana cedis was alsao presented to the family for expenses during the surgery process.
The doctors expressed excitement and thanked the donors for the gesture. They called on Ghanaian to support her with prayers as she prepares to go for the surgery.
